Artist's Statement
The coloured card collage specialism is driven by aesthetic values that I still persue and develop. Evolved
from drawing and painting at Degree level, I have worked in various disciplines including graphics, illustration and textiles.
I generally prefer the present specialism as it gives purity of colour, precision of form, an interesting relief effect with good
'wall power'. It allows expression of an interplay of abstract, graphic, symbolic spiritual content. Subjects are universal except for portraits.
