Artist's Statement
When I began my artistic career, I worked with many of the traditonal art mediums such as acrylics, watercolors, pen and ink, and colored pencil (Prisma).
During the early 90s, I was introduced to the computer and subsequently to digital art. I have been producing digital art since 1993 and have seen attitudes to this field go from - laughter, scorn, and just plain rejection - to the recogonized and accepted medium that it is today.
I am entirely self taught in the field of digital art. I enjoy it because it presents a challenge to me. Although I depict different subject material, I enjoy science fiction themes and surrealism simply because of the artistic freedom that I get from these.
