| Art has the capacity to open a dialogue with local communities and to bring people together. It is often important to introduce opportunities for community consultation into the commissioning process in order to ensure local support and a sense of belonging. The introduction of an art advisor with experience of these kinds of project can help to ensure both that a project is guided towards successful implementation and that community support is maintained. |
