Based on a colour postcard of a traditional Punch and Judy show. Extra details are added such as the stars on the backdrop. There was no particular motive or message involved except that I usually look for colourful images. I also chose it as an accessible image typifying popular British entertainment which all ages can relate to. Mr. Punch is outrageously non-PC but the shows are nevertheless a kind of morality tale.
