I was attracted by the intensity of light bursting from above the fall of water and contrasting with the shadowed moss and fern covered parts below. I tried to unify the whole with a limited colour range and achieve a feeling of movement and power yet with the airiness of a summer's day. The waterfall is on the beautiful island of Sark.
