'Inflorescence' refers to the part of a plant that is concerned with the production of flowers. My paintings usually begin with the observation of one aspect of the natural world. By this I'm trying to understand our place in the 'order of things'; to get beneath the surface. I see growth and movement in the natural world as a metaphor for spiritual growth.
