The movement of organic thread-like stripes is a recurring theme in my work. I want to suggest the relationships between different surfaces; amorphous shapes suggesting clouds more distinct rushing lines and then tiny root-like filaments. This combination makes up a tapestry of interwoven ideas yet open enough I hope for the viewer to bring their own experiences to the painting.
